The 'America's Got Talent' host was attached to Style Network's 'Lifestyles' reboot back in 2013, but the project never moved forward.

AceShowbiz - NBC is bringing back "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous". The network has ordered a pilot for a new version of the syndicated series that was hosted by Robin Leach in the 1980s and 1990s, with Nick Cannon taking the lead in the show's revival.

It's not the first attempt to revive the reality series that covered the extravagant lifestyles of wealthy entertainers, athletes and business moguls. Back in 2013, Style Network developed a "Lifestyles" reboot with the "America's Got Talent" host set to host, but the project never moved forward.

NBC's take on "Lifestyles" will reportedly be different from Style's take. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new version will "focus heavily on Cannon's point of view and include fun profiles on ultra-wealthy individuals with vibrant personalities, hobbies and tastes." In addition to traditional celebrities, tech billionaires will be featured on the upcoming show, which will also highlight their philanthropic efforts.
