It's a girl for Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen. The couple welcomed their first child on October 29 and managed to keep it a secret for a week. A representative confirms that the new mom and her daughter are both healthy and doing well.
The "Heart of Dixie" actress and her actor beau gave their newborn daughter a Disney princess-themed name, Briar Rose. It's an alias given to Princess Aurora to protect her from Maleficent's curse in the classic 1959 "Sleeping Beauty" tale.
Bilson and Christensen, both 33, met on the set of their movie "Jumper" in 2007. They got engaged the following year but broke up in mid 2010 before rekindling their romance a few months later. They stayed mum on her pregnancy despite her sporting an obvious baby bump.
The first-time parents are supporters of No Kids Policy, a campaign which demand paparazzi not to take pictures of children.
