Jim Carrey will return to "Saturday Night Live" later this month with "Fancy" rapper Iggy Azalea as the musical guest. The actor is scheduled to take the hosting duty on October 25, just in time to promote his latest movie "Dumb and Dumber To" which hits theaters November 14.

It would be Carrey's third time hosting the show, having appeared in 1996 and 2011 episodes. The comic actor himself started his career as part of FOX sketch series "In Living Color" in early '90s and remained with the show throughout its five-season run. He went on becoming feature film star, nabbing two Golden Globes, each for "The Truman Show" and "Man on the Moon".

In other news, "Saturday Night Live" hit ratings low when Bill Hader hosted on October 11. It averaged a 3.8 rating in metered-market households and a 1.8 in adults 18-49 in the Local People Meters, Deadline reported. The last time the ratings hit so low was when Charlize Theron hosted the May 10 episode this year.
