NBC is planning a three-way crossover for three of its hit series. "Chicago Fire", "Chicago P.D." and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" will share a storyline about a child pornography ring that stretches from Chicago to New York in the two-day event.

The case begins on "Chicago Fire" on Tuesday, November 11 at 10/9c. The next day at 9/8c, the SVU team gets involved in the case and then travels to Chicago to team up with "Chicago P.D." at 10/9c.

"Warren Leight ('SVU' showrunner) and Matt Olmstead ('Chicago Fire'/'Chicago P.D.' showrunner) are two of the best writers in the business. We wanted to figure out a way to create a crime that connects all three shows. Warren, Matt and I came up with a story that was big and unique enough to transit to all three," says Dick Wolf, executive producer of both "Chicago" series.

To TV Guide, "Chicago P.D." star Sophia Bush says the case is "a very personal story for Lindsay [Bush's character] because it taps into her family and her childhood in a way that I don't think the audience will expect."

Lindsay, Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and Voight (Jason Beghe) will visit "SVU". Rollins (Kelli Giddish), Amaro (Danny Pino) and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) will stop by "P.D.", but none from "SVU" will appear on "Fire".
