Michael Cera has pulled a Beyonce Knowles. The actor, who's known for his roles in "Juno", "Superbad" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" among others, surprises the world with a solo album he has quietly released on website Bandcamp.

The album titled "True That" has been available on the site since last week. Cera's "Superbad" co-star Jonah Hill helped promote it on Tuesday night, August 12 by tweeting the link and writing, "My great friend Michael Cera not only is a brilliant actor, he also makes great music."

The lo-fi "True That" features 18 folk-tinged tracks including an intimate cover of Blaze Foley's "Clay Pigeons". Fans can stream the album for free on the site or buy it for $7. Three bonus tracks will be given upon purchase.

Cera has received numerous positive comments from listeners. "Really, really good stuff. refreshingly lo-fi in a heavily produced climate," one commenter wrote. "Michael Cera? On Bandcamp? That alone is amazing, but the album is actually really great," another added.

This is not Cera's first time to have stepped into the world of music. He contributed to the soundtrack of "Juno", singing "Anyone Else But You" with co-star Ellen Page. He also played the bass in "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World".
