A judge in El Paso has issued a warrant for the 'Promises' rapper's arrest after he failed to appear in a scheduled court session for his marijuana possession case.

AceShowbiz - Wiz Khalifa is facing serious trouble. As reported by TMZ, a judge has issued a warrant for the "Promises" rapper's arrest after he failed to appear in a scheduled court meeting on Wednesday, August 6 in El Paso for misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.
KFOX14 additionally reports that the rapper whose real name is Cameron Thomaz was supposed to show up before Judge Ricardo Herrera at 9:15 A.M. However, neither the star nor his lawyer showed up at the El Paso County Courthouse. They called Khalifa again at 10:30, but he was still no-show.
The Wednesday court meeting stemmed from his arrest in late May. Back then, he was arrested at the El Paso International Airport for bringing a small amount of marijuana following his performance at Neon Desert Music Festival.
The 26-year-old star later even managed to take a "jail selfie" when he was still in custody. "I was like, 'Yo, can I get that phone, man? I really need to call my wife. I gotta tell her what happened.' And then he gave me the phone and I was like, 'Selfie,' " Amber Rose's husband previously said in an interview at the SoundSet Music Festival in Minnesota.
