Shia LaBeouf has made an appearance in court for his recent arrest at Broadway show "Cabaret". The "Nymphomaniac" actor was accompanied by his lawyer G. Robert Gage as they headed to Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday, July 24. During the court session, his team told the judge that they were working on an agreement with prosecutors to resolve the disorderly conduct case. His next court appearance is scheduled for September.

LaBeouf was arrested on June 26 after he allegedly made disruptive behavior during the show. He allegedly smoked inside the theater and refused to leave. He was eventually escorted out in handcuffs during intermission and was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing.

A representative for the former "Transformers" actor confirmed that the actor had been seeking treatment for alcohol problems since the Broadway outburst. "He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery," the rep said on July 1.

Actress Christy Romano, who played his on-screen sister on "Even Stevens", recently told Fox that she believed her former co-star would be "fine." She said, "I think he's such a talented person. I think he's going to be fine."

"Men seem to be able to come through of whatever they have going on publicly much easier than female actresses," Romano continued. "He's just so talented, too, that I think everyone will be able to push forward through whatever it is he's going to be going through in the future, too. But then again, what do I know? I'm not exactly an expert, I'm just somebody who knew him at the time that I knew him for."
