Shia LaBeouf allegedly did not want to disappoint Brad Pitt, who stars along with him in upcoming movie "Fury". The 28-year-old actor is afraid to embarrass Brad, as both of them will promote their upcoming movie internationally.

According to TMZ, the "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" actor was taking his alcohol treatment program seriously. His desire not to embarrass Brad also became a motivation for him to fight his alcoholism.

Earlier this month, Shia's publicist claimed that the "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" actor was seeking for help regarding his alcoholism. The publicist said, "Contrary to previous erroneous reports, Shia LaBeouf has not checked into a rehabilitation facility but he is voluntarily receiving treatment for alcohol addiction."

"He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery," the publicist added.

Shia and Brad star in "Fury" along with Logan Lerman, Jason Isaacs and Jon Bernthal. The movie, which is set during World War II, will hit U.S. theaters on November 14.
