James Brown biopic, "Get on Up", has unleashed its first trailer for viewing pleasure. It shows Chadwick Boseman portraying the late Godfather of Soul. It follows his journey from zero to hero and all the obstacles that stood in his way.
Co-produced by Mick Jagger, the film will give a fearless look inside the music, moves and moods of Brown. It's taking audience on the journey from his impoverished childhood to his evolution into one of the most influential figures of the 20th century.
From the director of "The Help", Tate Taylor, the biopic is supported by Nelsan Ellis, Jill Scott, Tika Sumpter, Viola Davis, and Octavia Spencer among others. It is scheduled to make its way out in the U.S. on August 1 this year.
