Kanye West did not call for a Louis Vuitton boycott. In a radio interview with Sway on Tuesday, November 26, the rap mogul denied that he told fans to stop buying products from the luxury brand. He said, "It's a misconception that I said boycott Louis Vuitton."

Kanye, however, additionally suggested that the label was no longer relevant. "You can't boycott Louis Vuitton. I wouldn't tell nobody to boycott a brand that ain't nobody even thinking about no more. Nobody thinking about buying no Louis Vuitton. That brand old. Nobody thinking about that brand. I wouldn't say boycott that brand. I'm talking about some relevancy," he continued.

Previously, Kanye talked about his trip to Paris during an interview with 92.3 Now, saying that the head of Louis Vuitton refused to meet him. "While I was in Paris I wanted to meet the head of Louis Vuitton and he said, 'I don't understand why we need to meet with you?' I said, 'Let me explain to you why you need to meet with me,' " he said back then before adding, "Everybody in New York City right now, don't buy any Louis Vuitton until after January... Now do you wanna meet with me? Influence... they think that I don't realize my power."

Kanye has been stopping by various radio stations and talking about different topics. In a Monday radio session with Hot 97's Angie Martinez, Kanye revealed that he recorded his proposal to Kim Kardashian because "I felt like that's something that would make her happy."

During an appearance on Power 105's Breakfast Club, the radio host introduced Kanye by calling him Kanye Kardashian and later asked if he was bothered being called that way. "Man, Imma tell you something, at nighttime when I go to bed with my girl, I would change my last name," he said with a laugh.
