Three fresh stills from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" have landed online via The Times of India to tide fans over while waiting for its trailer. One picture shows the wallcrawler wearing a fireman's hat and holding a hose. Another photo shows a roaring Electro, and the other sees Peter Parker getting cozy with Gwen Stacy.
In the next film, Parker will continue to adjust to his crime fighting life as Spider-Man and his relationship with his high school sweetheart while dealing with new enemies, the return of his old friend Harry Osborn, and discovering more about his past.
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are back as Parker and Stacy respectively. Marc Webb also returns as the director. Jamie Foxx is added as the nefarious Electro, Paul Giamatti as The Rhino, and Dane DeHaan as the young Osborn.
The movie is due in the U.S. on May 2, 2014. The trailer will debut before "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug", which will arrive in the country on December 13.
