According to a source, the 'Roar' singer and her boyfriend are 'very serious' towards their relationship and their engagement is 'inevitable.'

Katy Perry might walk down the aisle in near future. A source tells E! News that the "Walking on Air" singer and her boyfriend John Mayer will get engaged.
"It's inevitable," the source says, adding that Katy and John are "very serious." According to the source, people close to the couple think that they are meant to be together. "Everyone wants them to get engaged. They are so perfect together," the source adds.
Previously, a source also told Us Weekly that the two might tie the knot soon. "Everyone knows it's just a question of when John will propose," the source said, adding that the pair "realize they must be together."
Contrary to the reports, Katy said in November issue of W magazine that she liked her single status. When asked if she liked being married, the 29-year-old singer answered, "Of course. I really loved it. It was a new, fun, exciting journey. But I like how I am now, and I think all things happen for a reason."
In the interview, she also gushed over the "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer. "I actually am dating my crush," she said. "I had a crush on him for a long time and it so happens we fit together great."
