Liam Payne revealed that some people attempted to break into his room on Sunday, October 6. The One Direction member, who is currently in Australia with his bandmates, was sleeping naked when he woke up because he heard some commotion. He later found out that some people stole his drying underwear at the balcony.

Liam took to Twitter to talk about the incident. "Strangest way I've ever been woken up, When ur (you're) in bed butt naked an sum1 (someone) is trying to force open your balcony this is gunna be a strange day," he wrote.

"Hmmm somebody stole my boxers I'm so embarrassed. So how this happened... I went in the sea in those hotel staff put them outside to dry sum1 (someone) climbed on and stole them just to set the scene," he explained.

Liam apparently was amused at the theft. He added in another post, "#breakIntoSomeonesHouseAndStealThereUnderwearDay right I'm off to scarlett johansson's house." According to Australia's Daily Telegraph, the crazed fans were caught by security guards.

Earlier that day, the members of One Direction enjoyed their time surfing at Whale Beach in Sydney. Fans who wanted to catch a glimpse of their favorite singers packed the beach, prompting Surf Life Saving volunteers to play bodyguards.

"That is not the usual requirement of Surf Life Savers," Surf Life Saving spokeswoman Donna Wishart said. "They would have loved it though. They were probably really excited; the highlight of their patrolling season."

In addition to Australia shows, One Direction is scheduled to perform in Christchurch, New Zealand on 10 October. They also have 2 concert dates in Japan in November.
