Former 'Addams Family' actor Jimmy Workman wants judge to grant him custody of Ariel, reasoning that sister and temporary guardian Shanelle Gray is not a good role model.

In the latest development of Ariel Winter custody battle, her older brother Jimmy Workman has submitted legal documents to be Ariel's guardian. The filing came after their mother Chrisoula Workman failed to wrestle the custody from estranged daughter Shanelle Gray.

Jimmy who played Pugsley Addams in the 90s "Addams Family" movies accused Shanelle of exploiting Ariel's fame and money. He said Shanelle had a history with drugs, alleging that she steered Ariel into party lifestyle and made the "Modern Family" star hate her family.

"The allegations are nothing new," Shanelle's lawyer Mike Kretzmer told TMZ. "We will handle them in court. Shanelle has taken excellent care of Ariel to date. It's interesting how Jimmy and Chrystal talk about repairing their fractured family, and then make allegations like this."

Shanelle has been caring for her sister Ariel since October last year after the latter said she was physically and emotionally abused by their mother. Shanelle, who left the family home years ago, was later awarded temporary guardianship of Ariel.

Chrisoula has since attempted to regain custody of Ariel. She repeatedly denied any wrongdoings, claiming Ariel rebelled against her after Chrisoula disapproved of Ariel's romantic relationship with fellow actor Cameron Palatas.

In a recent court hearing, Senior Court Judge Michael Levenas refused to give the reign back to Chrisoula reasoning that he was yet to see any effort from her that she's serious about repairing her relationship with her teenage daughter.
