Karmin has dropped the visuals for their new single, "Acapella". The three-and-a-half-minute video sees the duo going retro in some bright and bold-colored outfits. Along with a group of dancers, the pair perform energetic choreography in an all-white room, in front of a red Mercedes, and in a green-themed livingroom.

"The video for 'Acapella' is visually something we've always wanted to put out," Amy Heidemann told Cosmopolitan of the colorful music video. "Our first few major label videos didn't totally capture who Karmin is."

"We had people around us at the time who tried to steer the Karmin ship a certain way, so it feels good to create something like this where we are at the helm and can really be proud of. The video definitely plays homage to the 90s videos we grew up with and are still inspired by today," she continued.

In another interview, Karmin revealed that their new music video was inspired by Hype Williams. "There's some of that swagger. Hype Williams would be really great to work with but yeah, we definitely stole some of his ideas," Heideman told MTV News. "He defined those videos I think in the '90s and 2000s."

Karmin's other half, Nick Noonan, said that he enjoyed the process of filming the video. "To be honest I was a little hesitant in the beginning, I was like, 'I'm sorry, what?' But it wasn't even like someone else was saying it, it was us saying, 'Hey, we want to do this,' but I was still like, 'hey, I'm going to go for it and we're going to do everything and see,' " he said.

"Acapella" will be featured in their upcoming LP. The currently-untitled album is scheduled to arrive in September via Epic Records.
