The 'Glee' star is seeking to officially end her marriage to her wife of three years, just a month after announcing their split.

Jane Lynch is officially calling off her three-year marriage with Dr. Lara Embry. The "Glee" actress filed her divorce papers Friday, July 12 in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason of their separation.
The Sue Sylvester depicter is asking the court to overturn its decision to award her estranged wife spousal support. In a court document obtained by TMZ, the couple has split since February. They didn't announce it until June though.
"Lara and I have decided to end our marriage," the 52-year-old actress said back then. "This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter."
Lynch and Embry, a psychologist, got married on Memorial Day in 2010 after first meeting at the National Center for Lesbian Rights in 2009 where Embry was being honored. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Sunderland, Mass. where gay marriage is recognized.
