The highly-anticipated first trailer for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" has finally made its way out online. Debuted at the recently-wrapped MTV Movie Awards, the video shows President Snow who talks with new Head Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee about Katniss Everdeen, whom he claims poses a threat.

"She has become a beacon of hope for them. She has to be eliminated," President Snow says, intervened with a scene which sees a riot breaking out during Katniss and Peeta Mellark's stop in District 11 as part of their tour of Panem.

Sharing his opinion, Heavensbee tell Snow, "Katniss Everdeen is a symbol. You don't have to destroy her, just her image. Show her that she is one of us now. Let them rally behind that. They're going to hate her so much they might just kill her for you."

Not only Katniss, but also the previous "Hunger Games" victors are going to be eliminated by President Snow as he tells Heavensbee, "Her entire species must be eradicated... The other victors. Because of her, they all pose a threat. Because of her, they all think they're invincible."

Back home in District 12, Gale tells Katniss, "You've given them an opportunity, they just have to be brave enough to take it." In another scene, Gale faces a whipping, but Katniss interrupts it, prompting a Peacekeeper to point a gun at her.

"Catching Fire" begins as Katniss has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts.

Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth reprise their roles as Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne respectively. Supported by Lenny Kravitz, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Sam Claflin, Philip Seymour Hoffman and more in the cast line-up, the movie is set for a November 22 release in the United States.
