AceShowbiz - One of the highlights on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" episode airing Sunday night, August 5 was the moment when Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian witnessed a water birth. It's part of the research done by the former to prepare for her own impending labor.
Khloe looked nervous and tried to distract herself by cleaning the house of a couple they were visiting. "I have seen my mom give birth to Kendall and Kylie and Kourt to her babies. I have never seen anything like this before," she tweeted before adding, "Kourts face is so normal and calm."
"I mean.... The screaming and moaning. I felt so helpless! Like I needed to do something but couldn't," Khloe continued. "I didn't want to experience the water birth but I'm so fortunate I was able to! A huge shout out to this family for letting us watch this!!!! What an amazing couple!!!!"
After watching the process, Kourtney said, "I just don't think that a water birth is what I want to do now." She added, "Even though I think that the experience at home would be amazing, when it's your child's life that's involved I just don't think I would take that risk."
While Kourtney loved "all this info on delivering babies! #kuwtk7 Knowledge is power," her boyfriend Scott Disick freaked out. "I don't want to be thinking about kids coming out of that little secret place that I like to go to when I'm lonely at night," he explained. "I want to think of it as my little playground." She, however, agreed that "sometimes ignorance is bliss!"
On her official blog, Kourtney additionally wrote, "I think it's important to talk to my sisters when I have a big decision to make. Even though at the end of the day, it's my own choice, it's good to hear everyone's view and keep that in mind when I make my final decision."
Kourtney eventually chose to deliver her baby in a hospital. She gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday morning, July 8 at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The newborn was named Penelope Scotland Disick, joining big brother Mason.
Other highlights from the reality TV show included Kris Jenner visiting her mother Mary Joe in San Diego along with Kim Kardashian, Khloe, Kourtney and little Mason. She promised to visit more often as saying, "Time is not going to stand still for me, or for any of us. We have to savor each and every moment that we can."
While they were enjoying a family time in San Diego, Bruce Jenner saw a sleep specialist to put an end on his habit of flailing his arms in his sleep. Since there was not much to do to solve his problem, he settled with buying a sling to make the movement of his arm more restricted.
