Kristin Chenoweth is out of the hospital after getting into an on-set accident. The Broadway star was filming her guest starring appearance on "The Good Wife" on the New York set when a strong gust of wind suddenly blew a piece of lighting equipment which knocked the actress down the concrete.

Chenoweth was taken to hospital on a stretcher and with a neck brace. "Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering," a statement from her representative said. "She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes."

The incident happened on Wednesday, July 11 at around 5 P.M. ET. "While filming a scene for The Good Wife in Brooklyn, a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth. All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery," CBS said in a statement.

Chenoweth has a recurring role on the legal drama. She plays a political reporter, who wants to find out all the details on Peter Florrick's campaign for governor, as well as his and Alicia's marriage.
