A day before it opens wide in theaters across the United States, "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" held its premiere in New York City on Thursday evening, June 7. Taking place at the Ziegfeld Theatre, the special screening event was attended by some Hollywood big names. Among those who stole the limelight were lead actresses Jada Pinkett Smith and Jessica Chastain.

Jada glammed up in a golden Salvatore Ferragamo mini dress that she paired with Jimmy Choo heels. Letting loose her long black hair, the actress who voiced Gloria the Hippo finished off her look with Le Vian bangles and Jennifer Meyer earrings. She was joined on the red carpet by her beloved husband Will Smith and their 11-year-old daughter Willow Smith.

While Jada arrived together with her family, Jessica attended the event solo. The red haired actress, who voiced Gia the Jaguar, kept it simple with a vintage YSL gown from Decades. She paired her black number with a cuff from Aurelie Bidermann and a vintage belt by YSL.

In addition to the Smith family and Jessica, the "Madagascar 3" premiere event was supported by its leading voice cast member Ben Stiller who arrived together with his blond beauty wife Christine Taylor. The actor who voiced Alex the Lion looked dapper in an all-black suit, while his partner looked pretty in a nude-colored mini dress and shoes.

David Schwimmer also came to the special screening along with his wife Zoe Buckman. The actor voicing Melman the Giraffe paired his sleek suit with denims, while his wife opted to go with a sheer black top and trousers. Chris Rock, who voiced Marty the Zebra, was also on hand to support the promotional event.

In "Madagascar 3", Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman are still fighting to get home to New York City. With King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins tagging along for another comedic ride, the quartet travel through Europe under a perfect cover, a Madagascar-styled traveling circus that they reinvent.

Also supporting the family movie are Sacha Baron Cohen, Frances McDormand, Bryan Cranston, Tom McGrath and Martin Short among others. It will be released nationwide on Friday, June 8.
