Big K.R.I.T. goes back to his hometown in a music video supporting his single "I Got This". The Def Jam rapper takes his fans for a tour around Meridian, Mississippi through a number of old-schooled footage filmed by director Todd Angkusawan.
"I Got This" is taken from K.R.I.T.'s debut studio album "Live From the Underground", which is expected to come out in the United States on June 5. As a first taste from the upcoming CD, the single was released as a free download on March 20.
The artwork of the album boasts an image of a car crashing the ground. "It's a representation of how I feel about underground vs mainstream music," so he explained. "This illustrates how I've crash landed into the mainstream to bring the sounds from the underground back 2 the forefront. I want to thank everyone for all their support of my journey so far."
