The ex-husband of the late Whitney Houston was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on March 26 afternoon after being pulled over in Los Angeles for talking on a cell phone.

Bobby Brown has just had another run-in with the law. The ex-husband of late singer Whitney Houston was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Los Angeles on Monday, March 26 afternoon. After spending around two hours in custody, he was bailed out of the Van Nuys County Jail.
Confirming Brown's arrest was California Highway Patrol (CHP) Officer Mike Harris, who detailed that the 43-year-old singer was pulled over at 12:20 P.M. at the corner of Victory and Wilbur in San Fernando Valley for talking on his cell phone. The arresting officer noticed that Brown showed signs of intoxication at the time and decided to give him a sobriety test, which he failed.
An official report by the CHP read, "Mr. Brown was observed traveling westbound on Victory Boulevard just east of Yolanda Avenue in moderate traffic when CHP observed the driver talking on his cell phone. CHP initiated an enforcement stop and contacted the driver, later identified as Robert Brown from Encino."
"Mr. Brown displayed objective symptoms of intoxication and was asked to submit to a series of field sobriety tests that has was unable to perform as explained/demonstrated. At 12:20 hrs, Mr. Brown was arrested without incident for 23152(a)(b)VC. He was transported to LAPD Van Nuys Jail and booked into custody."
Brown, according to TMZ, had a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher at time of his arrest. The New Edition singer was released from jail after his $5000 bail was paid. This is not the first time Brown got arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was busted in Georgia back in 1996. After he pled guilty to the conviction, the R&B singer served 8 days in jail.
