A Superior Court Judge has decided that Breezy should continue serving his five-year probation sentence in response to a request to end the singer's supervised probation early from his attorney.

Although he has been getting positive marks in his progress report, Chris Brown is still unable to shake off his five-year probation sentence. Superior Court Judge George Lomeli has just declined a request made by the "Wet the Bed" singer's lawyer to end his supervised probation early.
Attorney Mark Geragos made the request after Breezy's probation officer wrote in a report that the singer has "remained truthful and cooperative and has not tested positive for any illicit substances." He has also made "great strides as it pertains to his probation supervision", and "appears eligible to be released from further supervision."
Judge Lomeli, however, agreed with prosecutors and decided that Breezy should continue to report to a probation officer in his home state of Virginia. During the Thursday, February 9 hearing, the judge said he think it was reasonable for the "Next 2 You" singer to stay under supervision until he completes more of his community service hours.
Breezy was sentenced to five years probation for assaulting Rihanna back in August 2009. He has since completed anger management and domestic violence counseling. In 2011, the 22-year-old had a judge reduced the restraining order that prohibited him to contact Riri or get too close to her at music industry events.
Another progress hearing for Breezy has been set for July 10. In the meantime, the "Kiss Kiss" hitmaker will be making his first appearance at the Grammy Awards since his 2009 incident with Riri this coming Sunday, February 12.
