Matthew Broderick is slipping into the shoes of his iconic character from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" for Super Bowl XLVI. A teaser for one mysterious commercial featuring the 49-year-old actor popped out on YouTube Thursday, January 26, less than two weeks before the big match between New England Patriots and New York Giants.
Only 10 seconds long, the video sees the actor husband of Sarah Jessica Parker donning a robe as he throws open his bedroom curtains. Before the Super Bowl date, February 5, takes over with a music from the John Hughes-directed film, he lets out a familiar phrase, "How can I handle work on a day like today?"
It is still not clear what company is behind the ad. "chuckachucka2012", the YouTube user who posted the video, wrote in the caption, "We hate to be such a tease, but on a day like today, we just have to. Stick it out until the Super Bowl, or take a 'day off' on Monday and catch the big reveal."
