As it was promised before, a new sneak peek for "The Walking Dead" has been debuted on Sunday, January 15. Taken from the first episode in the second half of season 2, "Nebraska", the clip offers a glimpse of two new characters who show up while Rick is having a conversation with Hershel.
Prior to releasing the promo video, AMC announced at the TCA winter press tour that the post-apocalyptic horror series will return with new episodes starting Sunday, February 12 at 9/8c. During the Saturday, January 14 panel, executive producer Glen Mazzara also talked what fans will see in the remainders of the season.
According to Mazzara, Sophia's death will affect Carol's deepening bond with Daryl. "It forces Carol to really stand on her own," he teased. As for Shane and Rick's growing tension, the showrunner says that it "puts everybody else in a difficult position on that farm."
