Two brand new clips from "Underworld: Awakening" have been made available for viewing pleasure. One of them which is titled "Somewhere Safe" sees an intense scene where Kate Beckinsale's Selene asks her partner to protect the hybrid child Eve before she fights a terrifying giant Lycan.

Other clip, meanwhile, is titled "Frontal Assault". Coming out via IGN, the short snippet features an action-packed scene where Selene breaks into a highly-secured skyscraper before she blows up the building from the inside of an elevator, while Michael Ealy's Detective Sebastian looks on from a distance.

In the fourth "Underworld" movie, Selene escapes imprisonment only to find herself in a world where humans have discovered the existence of both Vampire and Lycan clans. They are conducting an all-out war to banish both immortal species. The vampire warrioress must now battle the humans to ensure the survival of her Vampire clan.

"Underworld: Awakening" is the first installment in the franchise which is filmed in 3D. Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein tackle the directorial duty for the movie that will arrive in the U.S. theaters on January 20. Also supporting the high-octane film are Stephen Rea, Charles Dance, India Eisley, Sandrine Holt and Theo James.
