AceShowbiz - First trailer for Danny Trejo's latest action movie "Bad Ass" has arrived. Playing Frank Vega, Trejo proves that he's still able to deliver street justice though he's old. Opening with a scene where Vega is caught on tape punching baddies in a bus, the trailer centers on the lead character who suddenly gets famous after the video is widely shared on the internet. People even start to call him "Bad Ass".

Vega is a Vietnam war veteran who returns home only to get shunned by society that leaves him jobless. It's not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus, where he protects an old black man from a pair of skin heads, makes him a local hero where he's suddenly celebrated once again. However, his good fortune suddenly turns for the worse as his best friend Klondike is murdered and the police aren't doing anything about it.

Inspired by true incident involving Thomas Brusco a.k.a. Epic Beard Man, "Bad Ass" is directed by Craig Moss. Elliot Tishman provides the script for the upcoming action movie, which is also supported by Charles S. Dutton, Ron Perlman and Jillian Murray. The film was originally slated to be released this year, but it has been rescheduled to open in the U.S. sometime in 2012.
