Brigitte Nielsen was a victim of car accident which was caused by an intoxicated woman driving onto the actress' car's rear end. Nielsen was consequently taken to a nearby hospital in Los Angeles and rushed to the emergency room.
The accident happened on Wednesday, December 21 night. The collision was so hard that the 2006 Porsche Cayenne, in which Nielsen was a passenger, hit another car in front of it. The woman who struck her from behind around 10:20 PM was driving a Toyota Matrix.
Paramedics and cops arrived at the scene and Nielsen was taken to a hospital for internal bleeding checks and a CAT scan. Nielsen has been sent home since, saying through her representative that she is "in pain but OK". She reportedly has a bump in the front of her head and pain in her head, neck and joints.
The woman was caught on DUI charges.
