Miley and Kid sing inspiring songs at the 'CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute' with the former performing 'The Climb' and the latter crooning 'Care'.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus and Kid Rock helped honor real-life heroes, who dedicate their lives to aid others, in a live ceremony of "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute". The former belted out her inspiring ballad track "The Climb", while the former crooned a thoughtful song "Care".

Miley traded her deep-plunging Roberto Cavalli gown, which she wore on the red carpet, with a more modest dress for the live performance. "What a glorious night to be apart of. Thank you for having me on your stage @CNN Such an honor," she shared her thought on Twitter.

Miley tagged along her actor boyfriend Liam Hemsworth to the event, which took place at The Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, December 11 in Los Angeles. Along with Chris Colfer and Emma Roberts, she presented "Young Wonders" to some inspiring youths.

The other stars coming to the gathering were AnnaLynne McCord, Holly Robinson Peete, Chaka Khan, Jerry Seinfeld, Sofia Vergara, Ice Cube, Laura Dern, will.i.am, Harry Shum Jr., George Lopez, and "The X Factor (US)" alum Rachel Crow.

The event was hosted by Anderson Cooper. 2011 CNN Hero of the Year was presented to an American woman named Robin Lim who, through her Yayasan Bumi Sehat health clinics, has helped thousands of poor Indonesian women have a healthy pregnancy and birth.

"Every baby's first breath on Earth could be one of peace and love. Every mother should be healthy and strong. Every birth could be safe and loving. But our world is not there yet," She said. She will receive $50,000 for making the top 10 along with the other honorees, and an additional $250,000 for being the Hero of the Year.
