AceShowbiz - %cKirsten Dunst% has been granted a temporary restraining order against an obsessed fan from Dijon, France. A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge signed the order that requires Jean Christophe Prudhon to stay at least 100 yards from the "Melancholia" star, her home, her car and her workplace, on Friday, December 9.
In a sworn declaration filed with the court, Dunst's mother Inez claimed that the 51-year-old man has left "dozens of letters at my home, describing his obsession with my daughter." She added that he even showed up at the doorstep of her Toluca Lake, California home recently, asking to speak to the 29-year-old actress.
The declaration also included Prudhon's letters to Dunst. In one of them, the obsessed fan said he has traveled to the United States several times in an effort to meet the actress, claiming that he sold his house for one of the trips. He also wrote in a letter, "This is not the right/accepted way to do but honesty and directness, I have no other way."
A hearing to determine whether or not the restraining order should be extended is scheduled for December 21.
