Connie Britton finally gets her bundle of joy after a long process of adoption. The "American Horror Story" star is new mom of a nine-month-old baby boy from Ethiopia whose given name is Eyob.
The 44-year-old actress returned from Africa about a week ago with her new son Yoby, which is a nickname she has given him. It took her three years to fill in the adoption papers before she finally was able to bring him to Los Angeles.
"I am thanking my lucky stars every day," said Britton. "It was such a wonderful moment of completion. I thought I was going to collapse into a puddle of tears. I was just grinning from ear to ear."
Britton will raise Yoby alone at the moment because she is not seeing anyone. She divorced from her husband of four years, John Britton in 1995.
