Universal Pictures has debuted a first trailer for "The Lorax". Making its way out via Apple, the trailer is filled with bright and colorful scenes and the look of Dr. Seuss' imaginative world. It centers on a boy named Ted who enters some kind of a wonderland where many of Truffula trees grow.
An adaptation of Dr. Seuss' enviromentally-conscious children's book, the animated movie focuses on the lead character Ted who searches for a way to win the affection of the girl of his dreams, Audrey. To find it, he must discover the story of the Lorax, a grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.
The voice cast includes Zac Efron as Ted, Taylor Swift as Audrey, Danny DeVito as Lorax and Ed Helms as greedy Once-Ler. Directed by Chris Meledandri, the movie is slated for a March 2, 2012 release in the U.S.
