AceShowbiz - %cRick Ross% is in stable condition despite his second health scare on Friday, October 14. Just two hours after the 35-year-old rapper assured fans he is fine and on his way to his scheduled Memphis concert, it was reported that his private jet has made an emergency landing in Birmingham, Alabama because he suffered yet another seizure.
According to TMZ, Rick's private jet was diverted and landed in Birmingham at 5:44 P.M. CDT. Supporting the gossip site's story, E! News provided a confirmation from Birmingham Shuttlesworth Airport. "There was a private plane that was routed here for medical purposes," so a representative for the airport said.
"This plane didn't go through our main terminal. We have a fixed based operator called Atlantic Aviation that handles our general aviation (private planes)," the rep continued on explaining. Atlantic Aviation, however, refused to offer any details, telling E! News, "No one is at liberty to discuss this."
Earlier on Friday afternoon, Rick forced a Delta Air Lines flight from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis to make an emergency landing after he reportedly suffered a seizure. TMZ reported that the MC fell unconscious immediately after the plane took off and had EMT workers performing CPR to resuscitate him.
Mike Jachles, a spokesman for Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, confirmed to The Associated Press that paramedics did perform "advanced life-support care," but denied it included CPR. The spokesman also noted that Rick walked off the plane, and was stable, breathing, conscious and alert.
At 1:55 P.M. EST, Rick took to Twitter to assure that his health scare was not life-threatening. "Never dat homie..we outchea #mmg powercirle!!!!" so he tweeted. Shortly after, he posted a cell phone video of him boarding a private jet along with a caption that read, "#Memphis here I come..."
