After encountering troubles due to budgetary issue, the Johnny Depp-starring film project is finally back on the track and will bring back some of its planned cast members.

Although it has been threatened to be halted due to budgetary issue, "The Lone Ranger" seems to be back on its saddle. Deadline reported that Walt Disney Pictures will announce that the project is back on track by next week.
According to the report, the Mouse House will start rehiring the cast and crew so that they could begin the production in January or February next year. As planned before, Johnny Depp will be playing Tonto and Armie Hammer is still set to star as the titular character. Ruth Wilson is also expected to star as the female lead.
Gore Verbinski and Jerry Bruckheimer will still tackle the directorial and productional duty respectively. However, there have been no words if Helena Bonham Carter, Barry Pepper, Dwight Yoakam, Tom Wilkinson and James Badge Dale would rejoin the project. Furthermore, it has been reported that the studio has accepted a budget of $215 million dollars, which was trimmed from the original $250 million.
"Lone Ranger" has been dubbed as a potential big film coming out at the end of 2012. In the film, both Lone Ranger and Tonto will embark on an adventure to bring an unscrupulous gang, led by Butch Cavendish, to justice.
