While the 'Superstar' rapper spits his verse in a hoodie, the Fall Out Boy frontman dances around in a tuxedo as they sing praises of Chicago in a music video for his first single off 'Soul Punk'.

Patrick Stump is sending a love letter to the city of Chicago. A music video for "This City", the Fall Out Boy frontman's first single off solo debut "Soul Punk", has just been made available for viewing pleasure. Featuring shots of a city, it also sees snippets of the rocker wandering around a bustling metropolis.

Most of the video, however, presents the 27-year-old dancing around in a black and white suit complete with '80s-esque shoulder pads and black leather gloves. Also making an appearance in the clip was his collaborator Lupe Fiasco. Sporting a hoodie, the rapper spits his verse from the shadows.

"There's not really a plot, there's not really a story to it," Patrick previously told MTV News about the clip. "The song's called 'This City,' and it describes a lot of these images in a city, and I feel like those images are already there; it would be kind of redundant to take a camera into a city; it's almost like the colors and the lights and the images that are going to be around this are going to be representing the life in a city."

"Soul Punk" will mark Patrick's first studio album since Fall Out Boy went on hiatus in 2009. Led by "This City", it is due for release in the United Stated on October 18. Patrick himself will go on a month-long national tour with Panic At the Disco starting October 9 in Reno, Nevada.
