Ken Jeong believes that disco can save lives. The Leslie Chow of "The Hangover Part II" stars in a new PSA from the American Heart Association to teach people how to perform Hands-Only CPR, and helps people to remember the two steps that should be done in a sudden cardiac arrest emergency.
The video starts with a group of friends playing a game of charades when one of them collapses. After two girls dressed in T-shirt emblazoned with the rescue steps step in to help, Ken comes in to promote Hands-Only CPR. Donning a '70s-era white leisure suit, he encourages people to push to the beat of the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive".
About his involvement in the PSA, the 41-year-old Us Weekly, "I may play insanely crazy and comedic characters on screen, but as an internal medicine physician in real life, I want people to know that sudden cardiac emergency is a serious matter." He added, "Immediate action can be the difference between life and death. Everyone needs to know it's in their hands to help save a life."
