Paramore's 'Monster' From 'Transformers 3' Arrives in Full
Music

Hayley Williams sings about an anonymous 'you' who once was in her life and drowned them both before she roars back with triumphant lyrics on the hook.

Paramore release a "Monster" song on June 3 as their first official release as a trio. Being recorded for "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" soundtrack, it carries aggressive tone with solid hook which hardly makes the song a disappointment. The mood is set right from the beginning when the distant guitar sound is played and the tight drum-smacking sound follows.

Hayley Williams kicks it with her lyrics about a doomed relationship. "You were my conscience, so solid/ Now you're like water, and we started drowning/ Not like we'd sink any further," she charges in the hit potential. "I'm not the villain, despite what you're always preaching / Call me a traitor, I'm just collecting your victims."

The lyrics might give fans a reminder to their bitter split when the Farro brothers decided to walk out of the band last year. The link to the less-than-amicable break-up seems to fade in the chorus when Hayley roars, "I'll stop the whole world, I'll stop the whole world / From turning into a monster, eating us alive." But then, there are "Don't you ever wonder how we survive?" and "Well now that you're gone, the world is ours" which could easily draw a reference to the issue again.

Beside listing Paramore's new song, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" has also got Linkin Park's track "Iridescent" which music video was recently premiered. Soundtrack compilation CD for the Shia LaBeouf-starring movie will be released in the United States on June 14, two weeks before the film graces theaters across the country on June 29.

The other acts contributing to the CD include My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Staind, Mastodon and the Goo Goo Dolls.
