The first look at Robert Pattinson in his forthcoming drama thriller film, "Cosmopolis", has arrived online. The image sees charming Pattinson's Eric Packer sharing the backseat of a car with Sarah Gadon's Elise Shifrin.
A 28-year-old financial wizard and billionaire, Packer traverses Manhattan in his stretch limo. His goal is to get a haircut at Anthony's, his father's barber, but on this day his driver has to navigate a presidential visit, an attack by anarchists and a rapper's funeral. Stuck in traffic, he anxiously monitors the value of the yen on the limo's computer, his fortune in the balance.
"Cosmopolis" is directed by David Cronenberg, whose daughter Caitlin Cronenberg took the on-set photo and posted it on her Twitter page. In addition to Pattinson and Gadon, Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche, and Kevin Durand are among other stars supporting the movie, which is expected to grace U.S. theaters in 2012.
