Kim Kardashian is next in her family to walk down the isle. The reality star's boyfriend of six months, Kris Humphries, has asked her hands in marriage, presenting her with a custom-cut 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz ring.

Details of his proposal according to People magazine include rose petals scattered in her bedroom and forming "Will You Marry Me?" Like a true gentleman, the New Jersey Nets forward got down on one knee. "I didn't expect this at all," Kim admitted. "I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now."

Kim's mom Kris helped Humphries to prepare an engagement party. "Kris [fiance] really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there," said Kim. "Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!"

Kim said earlier this month when reports about her shopping for a ring were rife, "I've envisioned the whole thing. I can't wait to get married. I've found my wedding dress - I mean, I already know what my gown is going to look like. I've thought about it all for so long." Rumor has it, she's planning to move to New York to be closer to her fiance.
