Jameson Empire Awards handed out the prizes at Grosvenor House Hotel in London, England on March 27. Grabbing the highest accolade was Christopher Nolan's mind-bending movie "Inception" which was dubbed Best Film.

Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy, meanwhile, went to the latest installment of "Harry Potter" series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I". "The Last Exorcism", "Four Lions" and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" were named Best Horror, Best Comedy and Best Thriller respectively. Additionally, "Kick-Ass" was picked as Best British Film.

Continuing his glorious moment, "The King's Speech" actor Colin Firth pocketed Jameson Best Actor kudo from the awards show. Swedish beauty Noomi Rapace was deemed Best Actress for her role in "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", while Chloe Moretz of "Kick-Ass" was named Best Newcomer.

Keira Knightley and Gary Oldman were among other honorees at the Sunday ceremony. The "Never Let Me Go" actress was presented with Empire Hero award, while "The Dark Knight" actor was handed with Empire Icon kudo.
