The first footage from "Something Borrowed" has been shared in a trailer debuted by Yahoo! Movies. It starts out as Ginnifer Goodwin's Rachel loses a man he adores, Colin Egglesfield's Dex, to her best friend, Kate Hudson's Darcy. Years later when Darcy and Colin have been engaged and are set to marry, single Rachel still has feelings for Darcy.
After one drink too many at her 30th birthday party, perpetual good girl Rachel unexpectedly ends up in bed with Darcy. When Rachel and Darcy's lifelong friendship collides with true love, it leads to unexpected complications and potentially explosive romantic revelations. Meanwhile, John Krasinski's Ethan who has been Rachel's constant confidante has been harboring a secret of his own while persuading Rachel to claim her happiness.
"Something Borrowed" is based on a novel of the same title by Emily Giffin. Luke Greenfield directs it, with Hilary Swank among the board of producers. This romantic comedy will arrive in theaters across the nation on May 6.
