Warner Bros. Pictures has unleashed the first still from "Sherlock Holmes 2", giving the official look at Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Noomi Rapace in the film. In the picture, the three lead stars are seen running away from a blown up forest with the two men having visible injuries.
"Sherlock Holmes" sequel will follow the world's most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his longtime trusted associate, Dr. Watson, as they match wits with their arch-nemesis, the criminal genius Moriarty. While Holmes and Watson are still portrayed by Downey Jr. and Law respectively, Jared Harris is cast to play Moriarty.
The movie is filmed in the U.K., Switzerland, Paris and Austria under the direction of Guy Ritchie who also directed the first film. The drama comedy will hit theaters across the nation on December 16, 2011.
