ABC has Beyonce Knowles on Thanksgiving and Mariah Carey on Christmas. In a press release, the network announced on Monday, November 1 that there will be a holiday television special called "Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to You" airing on Monday, December 13 at 9/8c.

The special will feature Mariah performing songs from her new holiday album, "Merry Christmas II You" which is arriving in U.S. stores this week under Island Def Jam Music Group. Viewers will be treated with renditions of Christmas classics like "All I Want for Christmas Is You" and original tunes such as her new hit "Oh, Santa!" which music video is coming out soon.

Also, the program will feature Carey surprising some very special fans and helping to make their wishes come true. Joel Gallen who produced this year's "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" will direct the special and serve as executive producer alongside Carey.
