Movie

The highly-anticipated trailer for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" has been released on September 22 as promised. Giving away scenes from the first Deathly Hallows film, it sees the wizarding world being aware of the dark times they are facing and how people close to Harry Potter try to protect him.

There is almost no scene set at Hogwarts featured in this trailer since Harry and his friends are on the run to hide from Lord Voldemort and track down the secret to Voldemort's immortality and destruction - the Horcruxes. In the meantime, the tension among the trio are getting higher.

"We're reaching the climax, so the relationship between the three is more intense," producer David Heyman said. "They're on the run, and they're not in the safe confines at Hogwarts. The pressure is on them to sort things out. It's ominous in the sense that the end is nigh."

Some scenes in the trailer are also captured in new stills which have just been released by Warner Bros. Pictures.

"Deathly Hallows: Part I" will hit U.S. and U.K. theaters on November 19, followed by "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II" which is due July 15, 2011. Both films get 3-D treatment and are directed by David Yates.
