Newlyweds T.I. and Tameka Cottle aka Tiny were arrested on Wednesday night, September 1. According to TMZ, T.I., real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., and his new wife were taken into custody and booked for alleged possession of a controlled substance.
The site further revealed that T.I. and Tiny had a run-in with the law after L.A. County Sheriff's deputies pulled over the couple while they were driving in a Maybach on Sunset Boulevard at around 10:30 P.M. that night. They were later arrested as officers smelled marijuana in the vehicle.
Detail on how much marijuana was found in the vehicle or if another substance was found has not yet been revealed. T.I. and Tiny remained in custody as of press time, while a bail was already set at $10,000. Rap Up additionally mentioned that the pair is scheduled to make an appearance at the Beverly Hills Municipal Court on Friday.
T.I. and Tameka Cottle swapped vows in a courthouse in Miami, Florida on July 30. The stars later celebrated their nuptials with a second wedding off the coast of Miami, Florida on the next day. The wedding itself followed T.I.'s prison release in April after pleading guilty to weapon possession charges.
