A clip which has just been released for "The Killer Inside Me" shows how a killer can still be loved. An exclusive courtesy of MTV Movies Blog, the video gives preview to Kate Hudson who delivers an emotional letter to her on-screen lover Casey Affleck before she leaves him.
Based on the legendary novel of the same title by pulp writer Jim Thompson, the film follows Affleck's Lou Ford, a West Texas deputy sheriff who spirals downward. Starting as a bored small-town cop, he slowly turns into a ruthless, sociopathic murderer trying to cement his innocence when the evidence looks suspicious.
While Hudson plays Ford's long-term girlfriend Amy, Jessica Alba comes between the two as she takes the role of a prostitute named Joyce who has an affair with Ford. Michael Winterbottom serves as a helmer for this drama thriller, which hits limited U.S. theaters on June 18.
