The MGMT boys get down to work in a music video directed by So Me to support their single called "It's Working". Reading a construction manual book they found inside a box, the two-piece band try their best to build a machine.
"In it, Ben and I find this box and these instructions to put together a machine that's constantly changing, and we end up losing control over it," Andrew Vanwyngarden told Pitchfork. "Saying this now, it sounds so metaphorical for our musical career, which is really funny."
The album where "It's Working" appears is titled "Congratulations". MGMT's second studio album which has been in stores since April this year, it debuted at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 200 with 66,000 units and became the band's best sales week.
