After three teaser trailers which do not focus on the key storyline, the first full trailer for "Despicable Me" has come out, shedding light on what the film is really about. Though it contains new scenes which have never been included in the previous sneak peek videos, the newly-released video is actually similar to the one screened at 2010 ShoWest in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Giving a preview to mean Gru who plots an evil plan with his army of Minions, the video also offers a look at the gentle side of the second greatest villain when he inherits three orphaned girls. A glimpse of the battle scenes between Gru and the world's #1 supervillain Vector is also shared in this trailer.

In addition to the trailer, a batch of fresh images from the movie which captures some footage seen in the latest video is also released by Universal Pictures.

Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, Gru plans to outwit world's #1 supervillain Vector by stealing the moon with the help of a small army of minions. But, Gru faces his greatest challenges when he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls, Margo, Edith and Agnes, who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad.

Directed by Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin, "Despicable Me" has Steve Carell lending his voice for Gru. Joining him in the cast ensemble are Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Danny McBride, Will Arnett, Julie Andrews and Kristen Wiig. This 3-D animation is slated to arrive in U.S. theaters on July 9.
