More snippets from "The Runaways" have been made available for viewing pleasure. This time, Apparition releases a featurette and several new clips. Sharing some new footage, the behind-the-scene video also provides commentaries from the lead actresses, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart, as well as the real member of the band, Cherie Currie.

One clip, moreover, shows how the rock band are admired by their fans in Japan. Another snippet, in the meantime, gives a look at Kristen's Joan Jett and her bandmates performing on stage with Dakota's Cherie enjoying the show while sitting on a couch. Cherie later joins the band at another gig in the other video.

"The Runaways" is based on the 1970s all-girl rock band of the same name, which were brought together in late 1975 by impresario Kim Fowley. The film itself will cover the formation of The Runaways through to Cherie's departure at the peak of their success. It will also highlight the relationship between lead vocalist/keyboardist Cherie and guitarist/vocalist Joan.

Beside starring in it, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart also sing a number of songs for the film soundtrack. The blonde cutie performs "Cherry Bomb" as well as "California Paradise" and collaborates with the 19-year-old in "Queens of Noise" and "Dead End Justice". As of late, music video for "Cherry Bomb" has been released, capturing some scenes from the film.

Playing The Runaways' other members are Scout Taylor-Compton, Stella Maeve and Alia Shawkat. Directed by Floria Sigismondi, this biopic is set to entertain audience in limited U.S. theaters starting March 19.
