Video: Mel Gibson Snaps at Reporter Again
Celebrity

Questioned about his DUI case and anti-semitic comments while he's promoting his new movie, the actor could not help to mutter 'a**hole'.

AceShowbiz - Mel Gibson lost his cool again when a reporter asked him about personal things when he was supposed to talk about his movie "Edge of Darkness". Joining Dean Richards on Chicago's WGN-TV morning news, the actor muttered "a**hole" when he finished the interview.

Richards asked him about the seven years off starring roles when he jumped into more personalized question. "Do you think the public will perceive you any differently after all that's been in the news about you?" the anchor asked. Gibson asked him back "What are you referring to specifically". Richards then mentioned the 2006 DUI case and the anti-semitic tirade.

"That's almost four years ago, dude," Gibson snapped, adding "I've done all the necessary mea culpas. Let's move on." Richards then wrapped it up by announcing the "Edge of Darkness" release date in theaters. Meanwhile, Gibson continued sipping his coffee and said "a**hole" under his breath after saying "bye bye".

This is not the first time Mel Gibson blows off some steam to reporters. A Jewish reporter quizzed him over his alleged drunken anti-Semitic rant in 2006. "The remarks that were attributed to me. I didn't necessarily make those comments," Gibson said before asking, "I gather you have a dog in this fight? Do you have a dog in this fight? Or are you impartial?"

Gibson apologized later and he encouraged reporters to stop asking him such questions. He told America's OK! magazine, "It's said that I went into a rant, but I think it went on for about five words. I was drunk. It just turned into a big thing. I apologized profusely - not once but three times. So what's the problem? It's four years ago. Do I need to apologize again?"
